Sweet Juliet - Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

A very good morning to you all, I hope you are all having a wonderful Wednesday:)
When I first saw this new collection from Heartfelt Creations I new in an instant that it was going to be 'another one of my favourites'......Ok I love them all hehe:) However this collection, 'Sweet Juliet' is just amazingly beautiful!
This collection is inspired by the beauty of ancient rooms locked away and laden with antique treasures. These rooms are filled with yellow candlelight and dusty vases. Crinkly letters lay scattered around, turning crisp and fading more every day. A postcard lays covered in thick dust, forgotten in a dark corner. Wildflowers lay around, as crisp and crinkled as the beautiful wallpapers. Using these detailed floral and typographical stamps, complemented by black, gold and burgundy papers will enable you to create an outstanding classical creation.
Don't forget also that you can have a chance to win the whole collection worth $150, so be sure to hop on over to the Heartfelt Creation blog and leave a comment and also check out the other Design Team members beautiful creations.
I have 2 projects today to share with you all today.
The first is a card, pretty simple in style with not to much fuss......I know! this was a little difficult for me, but I do have a few weeks more where I will be sharing some well lets say a little more over the top projects with you.

Because I Care

Heartfelt Creations Products Used:
HCD 740 – Sweet Juliet die set
HCPC 3563 - Post Card pre cut set
HCPC 3568 – Moments With You pre cut stamp
HCDP1 237 – Antiquity Paper Collection
Spellbinder dies used: Stately Circles
Other Products Used:  7”x7” Burgundy Base card, burgundy and cream card, Pearls brad, Cream lace, decorative pearls, pearls on string, small flat ivory pearls, Versafine ink – Vintage Sepia, Stickles Glitter Glue – Platinum, Distress Inks – Tea Dye, Victorian Velvet and Milled Lavender, distressing tool, grand Calibur,
Instructions:
Die cut a small flower in burgundy card and a large flower in some patterned paper from the Antiquity collection. Make the flower up using a brad in the centre. Die cut a 2nd smallest Stately Circle and the smallest Stately Circle in burgundy card. Die cut 3 of the foliage that come in the Sweet Juliet Die set in cream paper/card and distress with Tea Dye ink whilst in the die. Cut the foliage in 1/2 . Stamp the sentiment ‘Because I Care’ onto cream card, cut out and distress a little with ink.  Stamp and cut out the Post Card using the Sepia ink onto cream card. Distress the post card with a mix of the distress inks listed above. Layer the post card on to a piece of burgundy card with a small border. Choose some paper from the Antiquity paper collection (I have used a 6”x6” panel)  layer on to burgundy card again leaving a small border. Take some cream card and adhere to the card base leaving a ¼” border.  Now adhere the 6”x6” panel matt and the post card onto the card as in picture.
Layer the foliage and flower onto the 2nd smallest Stately Circle and adhere to the bottom left hand side of the postcard. Make a lace bow and adhere this to the top right hand side of the post card and adhere the sentiment to the centre. Adhere a length of lace about an inch from the bottom of the card and add a length of decorative pearls on string along the centre of it. Finish by adding a few pearls to the top left and bottom right of the postcard and a small one in the centre of the sentiment.  Finish of by adding some stickles glitter around the edges of your layered matts on the card and a little to the flower.

Now my 2nd project that I am sharing with you today is an altered box. I just love making these type of projects and because the Heartfelt Creations paper collection are all 12"x12" they are perfect for covering these types of items.

  You Are A Blessing

  3. What a gorgeous pair you've shared with us today, Nikki! That box is so elegant and ladylike...I love the way you used the die cuts around the edges. Very clever. And your card is just so scrumptiously shabby. The detail in your work reveals your deep love of paper crafting!
