Do we really need all of our crafty stash?

A very good Easter Sunday to all my fellow crafters.
It may be cold still, but I have researched the weather for the next week and it is looking up and by early next week we should be hitting double figures in most areas....... Spring will be arriving soon  :).
So I am making the most of this weather and working on my semi final projects for Heartfelt Creations.  I was asked the other day when I start a project do I have any idea what I will be making ?  Well, the answer to that is definitly not, eeeek. I usually start by deciding whether I am going to make a card, scrapbook page, a box or an altered art project. I always decide the colours first and then I go straight to my spellbinder dies and see what I would like to play with. I then look through my stamps and see whether I am going to go with a copic or water  coloured in image, and from there it all just seems to come together....... well as long as mr mojo is being kind. I can sometimes spend hours fiddling about with lots of embellishments and seem to go know where and other times it just all comes together nicely.
The big thing that I have learnt over the last few weeks is that when only given a few items to play with sometimes this is easier and your brain is just filled with lots of ideas on how to use them......... sooooo maybe hubby is right 'do I really need all of this stash'?  Yes! Yes! Yes! we all know the answer to this, but maybe we will just keep this a little secret amongst ourselves :) because as long as I continue to craft (which will be forever) I will always have the ' NEED'  to buy list at hand!

My project that I would like to share with you today is an 8x8 card using only Heartfelt Creation dies and stamps, red, black and cream card and a little ribbon and a few embellishments.

  • Spellbinder dies used :
