Justrite - Special Delivery

Good afternoon! Well we sure are having some awful, miserable stormy weather here in the UK. I hope you are all safe indoors all cosy and snug:) x The same goes to my fellow blogging friends all over the world whatever your weather! x
Today I have decide to share a few cards with you. I have so many that I have made for recent shows I don't think I will ever get round to sharing them so it got me to thinking that maybe once in a while I can show you a few of my favourites!
The cards I am sharing with you today are all using the Justrite Special Delivery stamp set.

On this first card I have the used the Justrite Rose Garden Background stamp, which I have stamped onto some pink card and heat embossed with Cosmic shimmer Detail White embossing powder. The dies I have used are the Justrite Vintage Labels Six and Vintage Labels Five.

The background on this card has been created using the Sue Wilson Creative Expression embossing folder Heart Lattice. The background stamp is again a Justrite stamp Elegant Corners Labels Four.
I have stamped the baby rattle from the Special Delivery stamp set and fussy cut it out.

I just love the stork that I have used on this card. I have coloured it in using distress markers. The corner stamps that I have used are from the Justrite stamp set Vintage Oval Labels.

My next card I have to share with you is one of my favourite styles....Gatefold! This is because if you have several favourite stamps from a set you can use the main image in the centre and also you have each of the sides both inside and out that you can decorate:) I have gone for a vintage sepia look!

I hope you like my choice of cards today:) Please leave a comment I love to read them:) I will be back tomorrow! Take care X

Altered Box

Hello everyone!
As promised I am sharing my box today that was shown on my show a few weeks ago using the gorgeous Creative Expressions Dress stamp.

You can use any type of box, either a recycled one or mdf .....you could even make your own.

Here you can see the top of the lid in more detail! I haven't overloaded it with embellishments so that the inside of the box is easily accessible.

I first painted the box with some creamy beige paint. I cut some panels from the Teresa Collins paper pad to fit all the sides and the sides of the lid, leaving just a small amount of the edges of the box showing. Before adhering the panels I used the Couture Creations 'Taylor' embossing folder to give them some texture. I used the Patina Gilding Wax to add a really luxury finish.
You can see here that I have adhered the ribbon and lace all around the bottom edge of the lid.
Products Used:
  • Papers and card: Foundations cream card and Teresa Collins
  • Stamps: CE - Dresses Viennese,  Dresses Baroque, Dresses Border and Dresses Corner
  • Dies: Couture Creations - Irish Dreams, Spellbinder - Bitty Blossom, Detailed Scallops
  • Embossing Folders: Couture Creations - Taylor
  • Cosmic Shimmer products: Mica Powders - Set 6 Luscious Greens, Embossing Powder - fine detail gold, Gilding Wax - Patina
  • Creative Expressions Embellishments:, cream flat pearls, cream Guipure Scalloped Lace, Cobalt Jade iridescent ribbon
  • Other products: Distress Inks - Tea Dye, Stickles Glitter - Diamond
This really is an easy project to create....and actually took less time to make than most of my card!
I will be back soon,
Take care

Pictures from CHA

Good morning fellow blogging friends! I hope you are all well:)
My jetlag is getting better thank goodness so I am back in my craft room today:) I had a good clean up yesterday......I left it in rather a mess I must confess! I have been itching to get back to creating, but wanted to spend some quality time with my family as I know I have a very busy few months ahead:)
I have been asked by the very lovely and extremely talented Christine Emberson if I would like to visit Hope and Chances and do a class...... Wow! what an honour:) The dates and times are to be confirmed so I will keep you all informed!
Now that I have my feet back on the ground I hope to blog more regularly and I have also began to video a few tutorials (not quite as professional as Sues though), I just need to edit them and I will upload them very soon.
I thought you might like to see a photo's I took at CHA.......not many of me though:)

This one has to be one of my favourites.....Marisa Job, Angelica Turner, Emma Lou, Linda Bontrager and me at the Heartfelt Creations Booth:) The biggest high light of my time in California:)Words just can't express how I felt when we met! Such wonderful and amazing people......:)

Tim Holtz :)....I could spend hours watching him! He is just so enthusiastic and passionate about art and crafting! ......Unfortunately I couldn't fit him in my suitcase:(

The totally exquisite Spellbinder booth. Don't you just love it?

Justrite Booth......Wow! the cards are just stunning! I just love creating with these stamps and dies:)

Finally a picture of me (not a brilliant one) with the Hollywood sign in the background:)

We didn't see anyone famous however when we got back to Heathrow Pierce Bronson was waiting for his luggage.....umm oh yes! I did go a little weak at the knees:)
That's all from me for now but I will be back later with another post!
Take Care everyone:)
Hugs
