A very good morning to you all.

Well after a very hectic few weeks myself and Ozzie have finally moved into our new home. It has taken us 3 weeks to decide which room I should have as my craftroom/studio but we finally decided to use the front lounge which is the biggest room downstairs. We still have some finishing touches to make like shelving etc but we will get there and I have made sure we have space for a seating area so I can share my room with Ozzie, my daughter Zara and guests.....one thing I don't like when I craft is to feel isolated from the rest of the family :)

Today I have used the Heartfelt Creations Festive Holly Collection which was released world wide on Wednesday 12th July. The collection is full of beautiful Red Cardinals, holly, berries and includes images of wagon wheels, a gorgeous Victorian lamp and bells.

I have used a 5 1/4" x 4 1/4" white card which is a perfect size for the smaller panels from the paper pad.

Using a circle die from the Heartfelt Creations large circle die set cut out the Cardinal image. This die fits the image perfectly.

The next step is to take the circle and adhere inside the aperture. As you can see the outer panel is raised to give the card 3 dimension.

Using inks/pens of your preferred choice colour in the images. I have used Fired Brick, Festive Berries and Scattered Straw Distress inks, Mocha Truffle and Rainforest Versacolor inks and a black pigment ink.

I have used the 2 darker shades of green to colour in the holly and blended using the Heartfelt Creations Daubers. The daubers are a great way to add colour and because they are precision triangle shaped you can get into very small areas. They really are a quick way to colour and give a beautiful blended effect to your image.

I have used the same technique on the Poinsettias to create gorgeous. You will need to use the 2 smaller flowers which you stamped and die cut earlier.

The next stage is to add dimension to your images using the Heartfelt Creations Deluxe flower shaping kit. I have placed one poinsettia on top of the other and added 3 gems in the centre to finish off. You can also add dimension to the holly and the Red Cardinals.

Adhere the Cardinal image to the left of the card and the large holly to the right. Snip the smaller holly into 3 and the other into 2 and arrange these on top of the large holly. Keep one smaller part of the holly and adhere just underneath the Cardinals tail feathers.

It has been just over 2 years since I last did a blog post and my life has dramatically changed in this time. The one thing that has not changed is my love for craft.

I thought it would be a good idea to start with some photos of my craft space and sneaky peak of the brand new Heartfelt Creations collection which I will be launching on Hochanda TV on May 31st.

My craft space as I like to call it would not have been possible without the love of my life Ozzie who has helped me transform our living area into my craft area too. Over the last few months we have brought some old vintage style second hand furniture some of which are still to be repainted and created the perfect craft room in which I can create in.

I hope to share lots of tutorials, hints and tips on a weekly basis and maybe more frequent given time.

The new collection is called Classic Wedding Collection which as the name suggests is wedding themed but as with all collections can be used for many occasions.

I'd like to thank you all for your continued support throughout my absence and like to take this opportunity to also welcome all my new followers.

Hello Everyone :)

Almost a week and I have only just found time to do another blog post.....sorry :)

I saw a quote on Facebook the other day which said 'I could do with an extra day between Saturday and Sunday' which I thought was so correct....but then I got to thinking that maybe I could do with an extra day between everyday:)

I have been busy packing the non essentials to hopefully make it easier when we eventually move, although this has now been put back a couple of weeks. To be fair this is good for me as I have so many things to do.....dreading the packing up of my craft room and log cabin (which has become my craft storage). I need to be working right up until the day we move so I am not quite sure how this is going to work. I am going to begin by packing the things I don't use on a daily basis.....this though could be then prove that I actually do not need it, but I really do find it hard to let go of some of my crafty stash. Maybe this would be the perfect time for me to also have a big clear out:)

Altered Coffee Bean Tin

I absolutely adore this Peacock Paisley collection with all the lush jewel colours and with teal being one of my favourite colours at the moment I have to say this is on the list of my favourite all time Heartfelt Collections.

This is a coffee tin which I have decorated. I have seen many Pringle tins that have been decorated and I thought this tin would be perfect and because it is wider than a Pringle tin you could put home made cookies in it or just give it with the coffee beans in it :)

Firstly I painted the tin with a thin coat of primer which helped the paper stick more easily.

On the lid I have adhered a Stately Circle Spellbinder die cut in teal blue card.

Around the edge of the lid I have added a of the strip of the decorative paper. You could use one of the borders from the paper if you wish.

As my tin has a slight dome shape I have add some teal ribbon as this was easier than using paper.

Tip: When decorating the tin only take the paper to where the lid comes else it will make the lid very tight and eventually may tear the paper.

Choose some paper from the paper collection and add a panel about 3" square to what will be the front of the tin.

Measure the tin and cut a piece of co-ordinating paper to fit (cut the paper slightly bigger so that it overlaps so that there is know gaps). Cut a 2 3/4" slit at the front and roll the paper to create the front collar. Glue or tape this onto the tin.

Cut 2 strips of paper in co-ordinating plain paper and use a decorative punch to create 2 borders. Ink the edges with a teal colour ink. Add one around the top and one around the bottom of the tins.

Add some lace around the bottom of the tin.

Add some satin 1/4" satin ribbon around the bottom of the tin and around the top....over the borders so that the edge of the borders are still showing.

Stamp and die cut several sets of the flowers. I have coloured mine in using some lemon and teal chalk inks applying with a sponge dauber. Use a flower shaping tool and mat to add definition to the flowers. Layer some of the flowers up as I have done in the picture.

Stamp and die cut about 10 of the fern leaves onto some pale green sage paper/thin card. I have used the same colour as I have used for the borders.

Die cut some of the decorative swirl flourishes from the cut mat create die sets.

Add the leaves, flowers and flourishes to the top of the tin as in picture. I have used some 3D glue gel to create a little height.

Either stamp, colour and cut out the Peacock from the Feathered Peacock stamp or cut out one of the peacock images from the papers.

Using 3D gel or pads and add the peacock to the top of the collar on the tin.

Glue the rest of the flowers and leaves in a nice cluster to the front of the tin.

Make a triple bow with the satin ribbon and add a crstyal sparkler to the centre. Add the bow to the bottom of the cluster of flowers.

To finish the tin off add some Stickles glitter to the flowers and also a little to the flourishes.

Hello everyone x

I hope you are all well :) x It has been another busy few weeks both in my work and personal life.
We put our house on the market and sold it within a day to a lovely couple who want to move in the beginning of April as they have already sold theirs which meant that we have had to frantically find ourselves a new house, which thankfully we have now done and things are moving very fast :) So if you thought I had gone missing again it is just that things have been very busy....exciting times ahead but after living in this house for almost 27 years you can imagine that although I am excited to be moving to a new house and area I am also a little sad to be moving from the house that I have brought my family up in :(

I hope you all managed to catch the Peacock Paisley launch at the weekend on Create & Craft. I did try and do a blog post to make sure you didn't miss it but unfortunately my internet was playing up on the Friday evening and I then ran out of time so apologies if you did miss the shows. You can still watch the shows on the Create and Craft website though....I think :)

Here are a few Butterfly Medley cards.....again I am so behind with my posts I will share a few of them and then tomorrow I will share some of the Peacock Paisley samples from the shows.
Another beautiful collection which was a delight to work with. I love the way that you can stamp and die cut all the butterflies out in one go like the flowers. It saves so much time and Like I do with my flowers I now have a box of butterflies already stamped and die cut out in a box ready to use on my projects.

I will be back tomorrow with some Peacock Paisley projects to inspire you :)

Take care x
A very good morning to you all. I hope you are all keeping well :)

I am again so very sorry that I haven't been around for a while. I just wanted to give you all a heads up on a photographic tutorial that I have written for Heartfelt Creations which is over on the blog HERE You may have seen this card shown on Create and Craft a few weeks ago....one of my favourite types of cards to make:)

I have made this card with a belly bar which holds the card together when closed. The papers, stamp and dies are from the Romantique Garden collection and of course I have also incorporated the decorative border die from the Cut Mat Create die set 2A, which has become one of my all time favourites :)

I think this card would be great for a wedding or engagement card as you could incorporate a gift tag within the tag.

I will be back in the next few days with the launch of a Christmas special blog candy:) So until then take care:) x

Hello everyone. Another week almost over and I just can't believe we only have a couple of weeks and most of us will be putting our Christmas decorations up....I love Christmas and always like mine up for the 1st of December :) A little early for some I know, but I really do love to make the most of them:)

I am busy prepping for the CHA which I am very pleased that I will be attending again in January :) I can't wait to meet everyone from Heartfelt Creations and work alongside them on the booth.... exciting times ahead:) I am not sure if I will be on Create and Craft before Christmas, but I will let you know if I get any dates.

I hope you are all well and would like to thank you all for emailing in the shows. It is a shame that they only read a few out, but I did recognise some of the names although I don't always get a chance to say hi:)

Today I would like to share a card using the All Geared Up collection.

For this card I have used the All Geared Up die set, the Nuts and Bolts precut stamp set and one of the panels from the paper collection.

I stamped the image onto some black card using some specialist glue and used some Cosmic Shimmer glitter. Very effective and no colouring involved.

I adhered the panel onto the card which measures approximately 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" .

I have ran some Cosmic shimmer glue down the edges of the card and added some of the glitter.

I die cut some of the cogs and sprockets in a selection of silver, and black card and layered them up to create a flower.

I have also used one of the leave flourishes from the Cut Mat Create die set.

To finish off the card I have cut the sentiment from the paper collection and adhered it to the bottom right of the card with foam pads.

To finish off the card I have added some glitter to the sentiment and the flowers.

I will be back soon sharing some more gorgeous Heartfelt Creations collections, but until then take care everyone :) X

Hello everyone. I hope you are all well :)

As promised I have another sneak peek of the new collection, Romantique which I will be launching on Create and Craft on Saturday at 11am.

I have used papers from the Romantique paper collection, the very sweet swan stamps which are in the Romantique Swans precut set which also have co-ordinating dies in the die set, the Bleeding Heart flowers from the Hearthrob precut stamp set that again come with co-ordinating dies. I have also used the beautiful Heart flourish die which comes in two halves and when put together make a heart.

The decorative border is from the Cut Mat Create die set 2A.

I have used the Tim Holtz distress tool around the edges of the papers and main card to create a little shabby vintage style to the card. Also adding some Tea Dye Distress ink to the edges.

I have used a grey copic pen to add a little shading to the swans and also added some Stickles glitter.

To finish off the card I have added some lace and pearls.

Sorry for the very short post tonight. I hope to be able to get to share another card with you all tomorrow.

Take care :) x

A very good afternoon everyone. It has been a while again since I last blogged....I have been busy crafting from dawn until late prepping for this weekends shows.

Create & Craft Update

The dates and times have changed again, so I won't be on until Saturday now.

The times are: Saturday 11am and Sunday 9am and 5pm. As always these will also be repeated on the Craft Extra channel.

So I am thinking that you would all like to see a sneak peek of this once again gorgeous collection?

You are going to love it. It has a very romantic feel about it as the name suggests:) The papers are in shades of beautiful pinks and greens. As always the papers are stunning and all co-ordinate beautifully with the 6 stamp sets. Also in the collection is a die set which includes a decorative heart, which is totally different than you may have seen before and also 2 cute swans which when sat together create a heart.....perfect for those Valentine, wedding, engagement and just because I love you cards and projects:)

I am really looking forward to these shows....you know how much I love anything girly and pink :)

The card that I am sharing today has been created using the Love Hangout precut stamp - HCPC 3639

This is a pretty quick card to make.

I have coloured the image in with chalk inks and distress markers and used some of the paper from the collection.

I die cut the image out with Spellbinders Classic Circle die.

The pretty daisy flourish is form the Cut Mat Create die set - 2A

The Sentiment is from one of the older Heartfelt Creations collections - HCPC Hydranga/Posy Branch prcut set which I die cut out with a Spellbinder die set.

To finish off the card I have added some decorative pearls around the image and some tiny pink pearls in the centre of the flowers.

This is just one of the beautiful stamps so I will be back tomorrow with another sneak peek:)

Afternoon everyone:) I hope you are all having a good weekend....we have sunshine here in Peterborough which makes a change from the wind and rain we have had during the week.

Today I want to show you how I have created a girly card using the All Geared Up collection. The more I get to use this collection the more I am loving it. Although I am now working on the next collection which will be on Create and Craft in a few weeks:) I will update you on times when I have had them confirmed.

I love the way that the artist has created a window scene.

To create this card I have used some pink card and matted some of the paler card from the paper collection onto it.

I stamped the All Geared Up Background stamp - HCPC 3637onto cream card and have used distress inks and a blender pen to colour it in.

I have then matted the image onto some of pink card and matted this onto the main card.

Next I have stamped the Nuts and Bolts precut stamp - HCPC 3633 again onto some cream card and coloured it in. I have cut it out and adhered it to the right hand corner of the image. To give it some dimension I have curled the ends of the flower and only added some glue in the centre.

I have made a triple pale pink bow and added this to the nut and bolt flower.

I have used some Hobby House bead spacers for the centre of some of the cogs and also on the window. I have used a larger one and a pearl brad on the bow.

Next I cut the sentiment from the paper collection and added it to the top of the image.

By adding some decorative pearls on string and some Stickles glitter I have made this card really girly.

I hope I have inspired you today :)

Take care and have a wonderful weekend whatever your plans x

Good morning everyone:) I hope you are all doing well!

I can't believe it is Wednesday already and I am only uploading my first post of the week....on the plus side

you will all be amazed that I finally found the time to do a full tutorial and it is over on the Heartfelt Creations blog today:) I chose to share my criss cross tag card that I demo'd on Create and Craft back in September using the Classic Sunflower Collection.

To make the card base take 2 6” square card blanks. Cut
diagonally from the score line on one of the cards down to the bottom corner.
Do the same on the other card, but mirror the diagonal cut. Adhere them on top of each other to create
the criss cross card blank.

Die cut 4 decorative borders from the Cut Mat
Create die set 2A using pale lemon card. Adhere 2 on each of the diagonals on
the inside of the card (you will need to overlap them slightly for them to
fit).

Choose some decorative paper and
adhere to the inside of the card and also to the outside. Cut a piece of Pale lemon card about 1” x5
1/2” and adhere some of the decorative paper on top measuring 3/4” x 5 1/4”.

Cut out the sentiment ‘Bloom Where You Are Planted’ from the paper pad and
adhere this centrally onto the border.
Adhere the border (gluing only at each edge and along the bottom) about
1/4” from the bottom of the inside of the card.
This has now created a pocket for the tag to sit in.

Stamp and die cut the sunflowers onto cream
card (I like to use cream as I think it is a good base to colour in with
yellow). Using 2 or 3 medium flowers colour them using Scattered Straw and Wild
Honey distress markers and a dove blender pen.
Use your ball tool on the petals until you get a desired effect. Layer
the flower up to create one flower.
Stamp and die cut 2 leaves. Close the card so that you can see where the
card meets and adhere the leaves and flower to the centre of the front of the
card.

Make an organza bow and add this
just to the bottom left of the card. Using the small tag die from the Luggage
and Tag die set cut out a tag from the paper collection. Adhere this so that it
sits just under the bow.

To Create the Tag: Cut a piece of olive card measuring
about 5” x 6 1/4" using a corner punch on the edges. Mat a piece of
decorative paper from the paper collection again using a corner punch on the
corners ( you can use the Cut Mat Create die sets to create your tag if you
don’t want it quite as big as this one).

Using the 2A die set from the Cut Mat Create collection die cut out the
panel with the Sunflowers in each corner as in picture.

Stamp the Bouquet Bucket onto cream or white
card with Sepia Versafine ink and colour in with a dove blender pen and
distress inks. Die cut out with a Spellbinder Classic Circle die and ink the
edges with Scattered Straw Distress ink. Adhere this centrally onto the panel.

Die cut out 4 of the decorative corners from
the Cut Mat Create die set 2B. Adhere
them at each corner from the back of the panel so that they sit as in picture.

Next adhere the panel about 3/4” from the bottom of the tag.

Die cut out another decorative border and
adhere this at the top of the tag.

Cut out the sentiment ‘ Sending Sunny
Thoughts your Way’ from the paper pad and mat onto some olive card. Adhere this this centrally between the panel
and the decorative border.

Turn the tag
over. Make a loop with the organza ribbon
and adhere about 1” from the top of the tag as in picture.

Cut out the circle panel and adhere this to
the centre of the tag.

Cut out the
‘Heavenly Sunshine’ sentiment from the paper pad and adhere this to the bottom
of the tag.

Die cut out another decorative border and adhere this to the top of
the tag.

Add some decorative pearls on string to the diagonals on the card,
both inside and outside. Also add some to the tag and the pocket.

To finish add some Platinum Stickles glitter.

Evening everyone...a late post from me today, but better late than never:)

Firstly thank you all so much for your very kind comments yesterday... Sending crafty hugs to each and everyone of you :) x

Today I have been moving some of my craft bits back into the house. Although I love it in my log cabin (which still isn't finished yet), now the darker nights are here it is easier for me to help look after the grandchildren if I do a little crafting in the house. So we have made room in the sun lounge for a desk so that I can have the best of both worlds:) So in between the rain showers I have managed to make a nice crafty space in the house again...not sure how long it will be before I begin to take over the kitchen as well though:)

I have given this card a shabby look by using the Tim Holtz distress tool on all the papers.

I chose the teal papers from the paper collection and die cut out a selection of the cogs, sprockets and leaves in some gold miri board. I have also sanded them and inked them with Tea Dye distress ink to give them a rusty look.

I have stamped the background stamp onto some dark grey textured card.

The leave flourish is from the Cut Mat Create die set.

I have added the border which is from the paper collection and also the sentiment.

To finish off the card I have added some Hobby House pearl brads.

This is a nice masculine card which isn't over fussy I think, but by adding a bow and creating flowers with the cogs and sprockets I think you could easily make this more feminine.

I will be back soon with some more inspiration:)

A very good evening to you all....Yes I vanished again, but after last weeks show I decided to take a little break as I know I have a very busy few months ahead. I have just spent some quality time with the family and totally just chilled out. I am now back on track and I hadn't realised that I was burning myself out....it took my family to convince me to take a break as they could see that I was trying to do to much:) I now feel more myself and ready to start work on the next collection:)

Create & Craft Shows

So just to bring you all up to date: Last weeks All Geared Up Shows went really well and I am so glad you all are liking it. You can really begin to use your imagination with this collection creating funky steampunk designs or more masculine designs.

I will be on Create and Craft again the first week of November with another gorgeous collection. I will keep you informed of the exact date and times once I have had them confirmed:)

Today I am sharing another All Geared Up card with you all. Wednesday was the world launch of this collection so if you haven't done so already I really advice you to head on over to the Heartfelt Creations blog as the Design Team have as always all worked so hard to bring you some fabulous inspiration!

The stamps that I have used from the All Geared up collection are HCPC 3637 - All Geared Up Background, I have of course used the fab Cogs and Sprocket dies. and the All Geared Up paper collection.

I created the base card with some brown card stock.

I have cut out the panel from the scrapbook layout which is in paper collection and stamped the image using some brown ink.

I have used some brown twine and adhered it around the image using Cosmic Shimmer glue

Next I die cut out the red tag and the 'Live for the Moment ticket using the dies from the Celebrate the Journey Collection and adhered them to the card.

I have created a cluster with the cogs, sprockets and leaves. I have used some silver Miri Card which I have then sanded them down a little and used some Tea Die ink to give them a rust effect. I have then die cut out some using some green card and some of the green patterned paper from the paper collection. I have also added a few to the top right of the sentiment tag.

Next I have cut out the red ribbon from the same layout page and added these to the cluster.

Finally I have die cut out some of the chain links and linked 3 of them together by cutting one side and slipping through anther and gluing where you have cut. I have also sanded these down and used Tea die distress ink to give them a rust effect. I have then adhered them to the sentiment.

I will be back tomorrow sharing another card and also I think its time for another blog giveaway:)

I just want to thank you all again for your continued support...without all of you I would not be doing this amazing job:) x It's hard work at times, but I love every minute of it:) x

Hello everyone...I hope you are all doing well and getting lot's of crafty time:)

I have managed to find a few minutes to give you all another sneak peek at the All Geared Up collection that I will be launching on Create & Craft today at 7pm with the wonderfully talented Stephanie:)

I thought I would share a more girly card today...just to show you how very versatile this collection is:)

So what do you think? I'm loving the fact that although this is a more masculine collection you can still use it on female cards.

For this card I have used one of the panels from the paper collection and the Plates and Gears precut stamp set. I have used the Cogs and Sprockets to create flowers using lace behind the larger one.

I stamped the image with some stamp glue and used some ultra fine glitter which makes this a pretty quick card to create as there is no colouring involved.

I have also used the decorative border from the Cut Mat Create collection and added some pearls on string.

I have finished off the card by adding some of the same glitter around the edges of the card.

This is one of the demos that I have prepared for tonights show.

Don't forget I will also be on Create & Craft again tomorrow at 11am....I hope you can all join me and I look forward to reading your emails:) ...it is nice to know that you are all watching:)

Hello everyone...I bet you thought that I had left you all? My sincere apologies for not being around over the last week....I have been really busy, not just prepping for the Create & Craft release on Friday (7pm) but I have also lot's of things that I am working on at the moment which I hope to share with you all very soon:)

So anyway I hope you are all well and thank you for continuing to support me even though I have been absent.

All Geared Up Sneak Peek

Today I would like to share a sneak peek for the brand new Heartfelt Creations collection called All Geared Up. You may have seen a sneak peek over on the Heartfelt blog last week.

This collection is a more masculine collection however the dies a really versatile allowing you to make gorgeous flowers from them.

My first thoughts on this collection was....not girly enough for me and although we all have to make masculine cards I always struggle with them, but this collection is stunning, from the papers to the stamps...it really is a fantastic collection for the men in your life, but also by using more feminine colours you can easily create a girly card:)

The items that I have used to create this card are:

Heartfelt Creation products: HCPC 3632 - Plates & Gears Precut Set, HCPC 3635 - Shifting Gears Precut Set, All Geared Up Die set and the All Geared up paper collection. I have also Used the Cut Mat Create dies which compliment this collection beautifully.

To add the vintage feel to the card I have used some Stampendous Frantage and also used Viva Decor 3D Stamp Paint.

I am hoping that I may have time to demo this card on Friday. The first show is on Friday 3rd at 7pm (a late one) and then the next show is on the Saturday at 11am.

Just a quick post tonight, but I will be back soon to share another All Geared up creation:)

The Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower stamps that I have used are: Classic Sunflower with the co-ordinating die.

The image is from the Classic Sunflower paper collection as are the gorgeous red papers.

I have used the Classic Leaf with the co-ordinating stamps.

The decorative border is from the Cut Mat Create die set Set B and the trellis is the Spellbinder die Fancy Lattice.

I have used black card to create the easel card with some pearls, black seam binding and a pearl brad to decorate the card.

I have used some Stickles Glitter - Platinum for the centre of the Sunflowers, on the main image and around the edges of the paper.

Now I must get back to my prepping for the next show....I am working on a mini album:) I can hopefully show you some sneak peeks in a couple of weeks as the show will be on October 3rd - 4pm &7pm

Evening everyone....I hope you have all had a great weekend.

I had a fantastic day at Sir Stampalot yesterday and would like to say a big thank you to everyone that came. It really was a brilliant day:)

Sorry I have been a little quiet....with the TV shows and my mini holiday I just haven't found the time:(

I am now working on the October shows. So rather than disappoint you all I have decided that I will do a post more regularly, but rather than do a full tutorial I will just add a list of items that I have used. For the more detailed card/project I will still try to do a mini tutorial. However if any of you have a question on how I have done something then by all means just add your question in the comment box and I will answer it. It may not be straight away, but I do try and check my blog a few times a day.

This is the Tissue box that I made using the 6" paper panels from the paper.

The Tissue box is one that I picked up from Ally Pally last year.

I have painted the edges with Distress ink using weathered Wood

I have chosen the panels so that each side has something interesting on it.

When I cover my MDF projects, when possible I adhere the paper before cutting and then cut round the edge with a knife,

I have adhered the paper to the lid and edges turning the lid upside down and cutting the opening out.

Next I have die cut the decorative circle out adhered it over the opening and again turned the lid upside down and cut the opening out with a knife,

I have added some lace around the opening adhering it from the inside.

I have die cut 4 decorative borders from the Cut Mat Create collection and add these to the sides of the lid.

I have stamped and die cut lot's of the Sunflowers...stamping them in the Vintage Sepia Versafine ink onto cream card and colouring in with Distress Markers - Wild Honey and Spiced Marmalade.

I have added these to the box cascading them from the lid down the side as you can see in the photo. I have also added some leaves and some of the flourish leaves from the Cut Mat Create die collections.

Although there isn't a specific front to the box I have added a flower on the side that I have used the Sunflower stem paper panel on and also a bow.

To finish off the tissue box I have added some Hobby House string pearls and some Platinum Stickles glitter on the edges and on the Sunflowers,

Oops nearly forgot the feet... I think these just finish the box off. These ones that I have used are from The Hobby House.....which when I get time to finish, on my website along with all the other Hobby House embellishments:)

I had better finish off here as I have an early start:)

Evening everyone...I hope you are al well?

Just a quick post as I have a few minutes spare before my show.

I thought I would share a card with you using the Sunflower Patch stamp.

I have stamped the image and coloured it in with distress markers.....can you see that I have stamped it wonky:) This was of course a happy accident as it now looks like the sunflowers are swaying in the wind.

I have matted the image onto blue card stock (I have die cut both the image and blue card stock using the Cut Mat Create collection) and then chosen a panel from the paper pad and matted it onto it.

Next I chose the check patterned paper from the paper pad and matted it onto my main card base.

I have added some Sunflowers which I stamped and die cut onto yellow paper. Also adding some yellow flourish leaves again from the Cut Mat Create collection and some Classic leaves.

I have added the sentiment from the paper collection to the top left hand side of the card.

The decorative border is also from the Cut Mat Create collection.

Oooh that was a quick post:)

Must dash, but I will be back soon for some more Sunflower Inspiration:)

Hope you are liking the shows?

A very good afternoon to you all. I hope you are all having a good day:)

Well I am now on day 2 of the 4 Day Deal and I really am having a fun time...if you watched this mornings show with Dean you would have seen that Dean put me on the spot with the reading of the emails.... what did you think to my presenting skills? ummm I think I had better stick to the crafting :)

Thank you for all of your emails. I have been overwhelmed by your support and well done to those of you that have won a card:)

So today I am going to share the altered drawers with you...After making my 20th + card I really needed to create something a little different and these drawers have been sitting in my craft room for almost a year. This collection is great for a project like this:) This project got my crafting mojo back on track.

Before adding any paper or embellishments I painted the drawers with some distress stain. I didn't add any undercoat as you can only see the edges.

I purposely chose the papers so that the middle drawers had the flowers on them and the others 2 were matching. For the lid I have used one of the panels from the paper collection with the cockerel on and cut it to fit.....unfortunately I don't have a picture on my laptop, but I will add a picture with a top view tomorrow so that you can take a look at what I mean.

I have used the decorative border die from the Cut Mat Create collection to add some detail to the fronts of the card. I have also added one on each side.

To decorate I have added some Hobby House pearls on string and some cream lace.

Next I added the drawer handles which are also from The Hobby House.

I have of course added lot's of gorgeous sunflowers cascading them down the drawers. I have added some seed beads in the centre using Pinflair glue gel. The leaves and flourishes are of course also Heartfelt Creations.

To finish I have added some Stickles glitter - Platinum around the edges of the paper.

I hope this has inspired you to create something a little different:)
Hello everyone! I hope you are all well:) We have sunshine today so I am hoping that we have summer back:)

Apologies for not posting sooner as I had said I would....I just don't know where the time goes and with yesterdays class I just haven't had a spare minute:( Obviously I have had to fit some time in for hubby as I can't imagine with my TV schedule this week we will see much of each other.

This is the sample card that I made and not the actual one that I demo'd and I did this one slightly different which gives it a different chalkboard effect:

I have taken my black card and dusted over it with an anti static bag which stops any excess embossing powder sticking where you don't want it too.

Stamp the image with an embossing ink of your choice and add your Cosmic Shimmer detailed embossing powder and gently tap off any excess.

Heat with your heat embossing tool.

Now as I just mentioned on this one I have also stamped the image again with some white pigment ink (you can also use a chalk ink) offsetting the stamp slightly giving the letters a shadow.

I have then added some of the white ink using my finger, rubbing in circular motion. I have added more in places to give it a more realistic look.

Next I have added some green and red pencil as you can see in the picture and again rubbed a little white ink over it to tone down the colours slightly.

I have assembled the card as in picture and added some Heartfelt Creation Poinsettias and some of the decorative leave flourishes from the Cut Mat Create collection. I have also added some of the white ink to the poinsettias to also give these a chalky loo. When stamping the poinsettias I have also used white embossing powder.

To finish off I have added a little Cosmic Shimmer Mica Flakes to the centre of the poinsettias.

One of my teamies on the Heartfelt Creations Design Team Gini Cagle has done a similar chalkboard technique using just white ink...this is a great technique if you don't have embossing powders and a heat gun, but would like to give this chalkboard card a go:)

Now I also promised to share my Lantern that I made and taught a class of ladies at Sir Stampalot yesterday. My inspiration for this was from another teamie on the Heatfelt Design Team Joanne Jamieson - Larkin you can find her lantern here and lot's more 3D projects....she is so talented and has some great projects on her blog:)

I made the lantern using a template that I made which was similar to the one that Joanne made. Joanne has a link on her blog to one very similar, but it is smaller that mine.

I have used the Festive Background stamp and heat embossed it in gold detailed embossing powder onto heat resistant acetate to create the windows. I die cut out the windows using the Cut Mat Create die from set 2B

To decorate the lantern I have add some of the Cut Mat Create decorative borders which I have die cut out in black card.

I have added some black lace around the chimney and also some pearls on string.

The poinsettias and holly are of course Heartfelt Creation stamps and dies.

To finish of the lantern I have added some platinum Stickles glitter and lot's of Pinflair snow dust.

I hope you have enjoyed today's festive post...I will be back tomorrow with a Sunflower project which will be on the show:)
By the way I hope you can all join me for my very first 4 Day Deal which kicks off at 8am with Dean:).....It has been a pretty hectic August prepping for these shows, but I have to say I am so loving my job:) x

Good morning friends....so how is your week going? Over here in the UK the summer holidays are coming towards the end and the children are preparing to go back to school:) It is a real shame that the weather hasn't been kind to us, but you can guarantee that once they are all back at school that we will have a heat wave lol

Apologies for those of you that were waiting for the 2nd show on Tuesday....there just wasn't enough of the stock so they had to cancel it and replace it with the Scan N Cut show. Unfortunately the emails were not coming through either so I didn't get to give away the chalkboard effect card that I demo'd so I will be doing a giveaway for this card tomorrow.....I just need to take a photo of the card and I also had promised you all a sneak peek today of the September Collection which is called Classic Sunflower. So if all goes to plan I will do a post tomorrow with the Chalkboard card and also a blog giveaway tomorrow:)

If you follow the Heartfelt Creations blog and Facebook page you may have already seen a sneak peek of this beautiful collection which is full of Sunflower Splendor:) This collection takes me back to the end of the 90's when I had a pine kitchen and I had sunflowers stenciled in a border along the top of the wall and baskets of dried flowers and artificial sunflowers dotted around the house.....Do you remember the days when dried flowers were all the rage....I even had bunches hanging from the kitchen ceiling! Now I come to think of it they really were rather unhygienic:) So this collection has taken me on a trip down memory lane so I really am loving this collection:)

The collection comprises of 6 stamp sets which include sunflowers, hens, butterflies and verses, a die that you can cut out 11 sunflowers out all in one and of course a beautiful 12"x12" paper pad.

Classic Sunflower Sneak Peek

So here is your sneak peek - This card is using the Sunflower Stem precut stamp set - HCPC 3627 which also includes a butterfly, a small verse and some sunflower seeds

On some of my samples as with this sunflower I have made my sunflowers a little vintage colouring them in using Distress Markers. I also find that I can colour in much quicker using these!

So I stamped and coloured in the sunflower onto cream card and die cut it out with Spellbinder Ovals.

I have chosen a decorative panel from the paper collection and used the Tim Holtz distress tool to distress the edges. If you don't have one of these you can use the edge of your scissors or a knife. I have matted the panel onto some dusky pale blue card (also distressed the edges) and adhered it to my cream card base which measures about 7" square.

I have also distressed the edges of the main card and also used some Tea Dye distress ink.

Next I die cut out the Spellbinder Elegant Oval in the dusky blue card and matted my sunflower image onto it. I have added some lace across the card before adhering it to the left hand side of the card.

I have stamped and die cut the Classic Sunflowers - You can use this stamp as a background stamp, but you can also use it with the Co-ordinating die which gives you 11 individual sunflowers in various sizes, some sunflower seeds and also 2 cute little ladybirds (lady bugs if you are from the USA). I have stamped it onto a mustard yellow card stock and then used my distress ink - Tea Dye to add a little more detail.

I have die cut out 2 flourishes from the Spellbinder die set Jewel Flowers and Flourishes in the mustard yellow card stock and die cut some Leaves from the Heartfelt Creations Classic Leaf die set and co-ordinating stamp.

I have adhered the sunflower, flourishes and leaves to the card adding a bow and tag from the paper collection.

To finish off the card I have added some cream Hobby House decorative pearls on string.

So what do you think to this collection so far? I have lot's more inspiration to share with you all including cards, scrapbook layouts, and some altered mdf items! This really has been a gorgeous collection to work with:)

As I said tomorrow I will post the Blackboard effect Christmas card with a blog candy giveaway and then hopefully over the weekend I will share some more sneaky peeks before my show on Monday.

Ooooh so much to do and a class on Saturday where we will be making a Christmas Lantern...I will share pictures of this tomorrow too:) The Lantern was inspired by one that my fellow teamie Joann Jamieson-Larkin who makes some amazing 3D projects.

Now I really must leave it there as I still have more samples to make for next weeks show.....I am on project 30 and have already 22 cards prepped ready to demo! Not sure that this will be enough so I may do a few more quickie ones just in case:) This will be my first 4Day Deal so I really am extra excited about this collection:).....can you tell:)

For this very festive Christmas card I have used the Festive Notes stamp for the background - you can just about see it underneath the Cosmic Shimmer Iced Crystals.

I have stamped the main image in red and added a little Cosmic Shimmer Pearlscent mica powder. This stamp is the O Little Town. I have die cut the image out using the Spellbinder Standard Circles.

The sentiment stamp is from the Dove of Peace stamp.

I have layered the elements onto the main card using foam pads.

The Poinsettia is the Christmas Poinsettia stamp and the co-ordinating Sun Kissed Fleur die set.

The flourishes are from the Sweet Lullaby die set.

I have added lot's of the Cosmic Shimmer Iced Crystals to give the card a really festive ice feel:)

Sorry for the rather brief tutorial today....believe it or not I am in the middle of having my dreaded roots done:) Thank goodness my hairdresser works Bank Holidays:)
