It has been just over 2 years since I last did a blog post and my life has dramatically changed in this time. The one thing that has not changed is my love for craft.

Altered Coffee Bean Tin Using the New Heartfelt Creations Peacock Paisley Collection
- Firstly I painted the tin with a thin coat of primer which helped the paper stick more easily.
- On the lid I have adhered a Stately Circle Spellbinder die cut in teal blue card.
- Around the edge of the lid I have added a of the strip of the decorative paper. You could use one of the borders from the paper if you wish.
- As my tin has a slight dome shape I have add some teal ribbon as this was easier than using paper.
- Tip: When decorating the tin only take the paper to where the lid comes else it will make the lid very tight and eventually may tear the paper.
- Choose some paper from the paper collection and add a panel about 3" square to what will be the front of the tin.
- Measure the tin and cut a piece of co-ordinating paper to fit (cut the paper slightly bigger so that it overlaps so that there is know gaps). Cut a 2 3/4" slit at the front and roll the paper to create the front collar. Glue or tape this onto the tin.
- Cut 2 strips of paper in co-ordinating plain paper and use a decorative punch to create 2 borders. Ink the edges with a teal colour ink. Add one around the top and one around the bottom of the tins.
- Add some lace around the bottom of the tin.
- Add some satin 1/4" satin ribbon around the bottom of the tin and around the top....over the borders so that the edge of the borders are still showing.
- Stamp and die cut several sets of the flowers. I have coloured mine in using some lemon and teal chalk inks applying with a sponge dauber. Use a flower shaping tool and mat to add definition to the flowers. Layer some of the flowers up as I have done in the picture.
- Stamp and die cut about 10 of the fern leaves onto some pale green sage paper/thin card. I have used the same colour as I have used for the borders.
- Die cut some of the decorative swirl flourishes from the cut mat create die sets.
- Add the leaves, flowers and flourishes to the top of the tin as in picture. I have used some 3D glue gel to create a little height.
- Either stamp, colour and cut out the Peacock from the Feathered Peacock stamp or cut out one of the peacock images from the papers.
- Using 3D gel or pads and add the peacock to the top of the collar on the tin.
- Glue the rest of the flowers and leaves in a nice cluster to the front of the tin.
- Make a triple bow with the satin ribbon and add a crstyal sparkler to the centre. Add the bow to the bottom of the cluster of flowers.
- To finish the tin off add some Stickles glitter to the flowers and also a little to the flourishes.

Butterfly Medley Inspiration
Hello everyone x
I hope you are all well :) x It has been another busy few weeks both in my work and personal life.
We put our house on the market and sold it within a day to a lovely couple who want to move in the beginning of April as they have already sold theirs which meant that we have had to frantically find ourselves a new house, which thankfully we have now done and things are moving very fast :) So if you thought I had gone missing again it is just that things have been very busy....exciting times ahead but after living in this house for almost 27 years you can imagine that although I am excited to be moving to a new house and area I am also a little sad to be moving from the house that I have brought my family up in :(
I hope you all managed to catch the Peacock Paisley launch at the weekend on Create & Craft. I did try and do a blog post to make sure you didn't miss it but unfortunately my internet was playing up on the Friday evening and I then ran out of time so apologies if you did miss the shows. You can still watch the shows on the Create and Craft website though....I think :)
Here are a few Butterfly Medley cards.....again I am so behind with my posts I will share a few of them and then tomorrow I will share some of the Peacock Paisley samples from the shows.
Another beautiful collection which was a delight to work with. I love the way that you can stamp and die cut all the butterflies out in one go like the flowers. It saves so much time and Like I do with my flowers I now have a box of butterflies already stamped and die cut out in a box ready to use on my projects.
I will be back tomorrow with some Peacock Paisley projects to inspire you :)
Take care x

- I cut the image out using a Spellbinder oval die.
- I stamped 6 individual Hydrangeas and fussy cut them out. I also stamped some blossoms, leaves, branches and fluffy birds die cut them out. I coloured them to match the main image.
- I added the image to the left of the card using foam pads and added all the elements to frame the bottom half of it.
- I cut the sentiment from the paper pad and adhered it to the bottom right of card using foam pads.
- I have made a double bow with some pale pink organza ribbon and added this to the top right of the image.

On Your Special Day Heartfelt Creations Tutorial
I have made this card with a belly bar which holds the card together when closed. The papers, stamp and dies are from the Romantique Garden collection and of course I have also incorporated the decorative border die from the Cut Mat Create die set 2A, which has become one of my all time favourites :)
I think this card would be great for a wedding or engagement card as you could incorporate a gift tag within the tag.
I will be back in the next few days with the launch of a Christmas special blog candy:) So until then take care:) x

It's Your Special Day Heartfelt Creations card
- For this card I have used the All Geared Up die set, the Nuts and Bolts precut stamp set and one of the panels from the paper collection.
- I stamped the image onto some black card using some specialist glue and used some Cosmic Shimmer glitter. Very effective and no colouring involved.
- I adhered the panel onto the card which measures approximately 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" .
- I have ran some Cosmic shimmer glue down the edges of the card and added some of the glitter.
- I die cut some of the cogs and sprockets in a selection of silver, and black card and layered them up to create a flower.
- I have also used one of the leave flourishes from the Cut Mat Create die set.
- To finish off the card I have cut the sentiment from the paper collection and adhered it to the bottom right of the card with foam pads.
- To finish off the card I have added some glitter to the sentiment and the flowers.

Romantique Sneak Peek
- I have used papers from the Romantique paper collection, the very sweet swan stamps which are in the Romantique Swans precut set which also have co-ordinating dies in the die set, the Bleeding Heart flowers from the Hearthrob precut stamp set that again come with co-ordinating dies. I have also used the beautiful Heart flourish die which comes in two halves and when put together make a heart.
- The decorative border is from the Cut Mat Create die set 2A.
- I have used the Tim Holtz distress tool around the edges of the papers and main card to create a little shabby vintage style to the card. Also adding some Tea Dye Distress ink to the edges.
- I have used a grey copic pen to add a little shading to the swans and also added some Stickles glitter.
- To finish off the card I have added some lace and pearls.

Romantique Collection Sneak Peek
- This is a pretty quick card to make.
- I have coloured the image in with chalk inks and distress markers and used some of the paper from the collection.
- I die cut the image out with Spellbinders Classic Circle die.
- The pretty daisy flourish is form the Cut Mat Create die set - 2A
- The Sentiment is from one of the older Heartfelt Creations collections - HCPC Hydranga/Posy Branch prcut set which I die cut out with a Spellbinder die set.
- To finish off the card I have added some decorative pearls around the image and some tiny pink pearls in the centre of the flowers.
This is just one of the beautiful stamps so I will be back tomorrow with another sneak peek:)
Take Care :) x

Heartfelt Creations - Celebrating You
I love the way that the artist has created a window scene.
- To create this card I have used some pink card and matted some of the paler card from the paper collection onto it.
- I stamped the All Geared Up Background stamp - HCPC 3637onto cream card and have used distress inks and a blender pen to colour it in.
- I have then matted the image onto some of pink card and matted this onto the main card.
- Next I have stamped the Nuts and Bolts precut stamp - HCPC 3633 again onto some cream card and coloured it in. I have cut it out and adhered it to the right hand corner of the image. To give it some dimension I have curled the ends of the flower and only added some glue in the centre.
- I have made a triple pale pink bow and added this to the nut and bolt flower.
- I have used some Hobby House bead spacers for the centre of some of the cogs and also on the window. I have used a larger one and a pearl brad on the bow.
- Next I cut the sentiment from the paper collection and added it to the top of the image.
- By adding some decorative pearls on string and some Stickles glitter I have made this card really girly.
Take care and have a wonderful weekend whatever your plans x
