New Blog Candy and some Hobby House Inspiration

 
Afternoon fellow blogging friends! How's your weekend going....if like mine not going to plan as my lazy morning seems to have crept into the afternoon:) So I am having a PJ day watching the Friends repeats that I have seen dozens of times but still find myself laughing lol....sad I know:)
I enjoyed having the grandchildren over night and they were really good, but has left me a little exhausted:(
 
So today I am launching another blog candy and as the previous one you can choose any Heartfelt Creations stamp and you will also get so,me Hobby House goodies and a few other crafting goodies, oh and of course one of my cards:)
As always just leave a comment below and I will include you in the random org draw:)
No pressure on becoming a follower of my blog....only if you like my work and I inspire you:)
 
Today I am sharing a Hobby House card which I demonstrated on Create and Craft yesterday and if you like participating in challenges The Hobby House has a new one which starts today over on the BLOG today and the theme is anything goes using a new Hobby House topper!
 
 
  • I made my card with the April Showers Card Making Kit
  • The topper is an Elizabeth Bell design.
  • The only thing that I have added that wasn't part of the kit are the leaves which are the Heartfelt Creations classic leaf die and stamp.
  • I inked the edges with a little distress ink - Tattered Rose and  finished off the card with some Stickles Glitter....!
Just a quickie today:(....Now to see if I can finish my new blog design!

    I just love these toppers. However I really like to stamp and colour. So after watching your show yesterday evening will have to order a couple of these from Hobby House rather than from C & C. Wouldn't really use a lot of sheets of toppers. I always love how you put your cards together, and how they can sometimes look a bit different from the one you are demoing. That's the essence of card making I think. It makes no difference at all if the one you are producing is a bit different from the original. Love the inspiration that you always give us, and for giving us the chance to win a heartfelt creation stamp.

    Hi Nikki, I Love your Beautiful Card, I Love how you utilise your Embellishments, as you know I'm a Stamper at heart so if I ever use toppers I like to add Stamping in also, I know some of the images from Hobby House come in Stamp form so I purchase them when I see them, I love the Colours you have chosen, thanks for sharing Nikki.     Hi Nikki, Your show was fantastic, great tips and techniques and your demo's are fabulous, I could watch you all day. I ordered the 'boy' and the 'girl' papers, as they were so cute and boys especially are really hard to make cards for haha !!

    What a delightful card. Love the colours and enjoyed your show on Friday. I have 'Friends' boxed set and they still make me laugh too. I've watched so many times I remember most of the jokes and (far too many) details. It's surprising how regularly a 'Friends situation' crops up in real life. Everyone deserves a PJ day once in a while and if you can't share it with 'Friends'.......

    As always such a pretty card. You can always tell a 'Nikki' card it just has those certain elements that point them to your design ways : )
    Am looking for a topper that shows a little girl dressing up, as I have a card to make for a special little girl who just loves dressing up ( apart from One D) a little gal with special needs, so a special HH topper is what Im needing for her : )

    I just wanted to say I taped your show and have watched it several times, the cards you brought to the show were lovely, so much detail in them. I ordered the stamps with the clocks and sentiments and then ordered the die this week, they make lovely embellishments to cards in a really quick way.
    So glad that you are representing Heartfelt as their products are gorgeous and you did a great job of demonstrating, it was a lovely calm show to watch, so thankyou.
