Heartfelt Creations Wednesday

Hi to you all I hope you are all having a good day:)
I am a little late with my project today as I am a little busy looking after my new grandson who arrived on Monday weighing 6lb:) So exciting and such an amazing experience to be part of.  So I may not be around much for the next week or two as my daughter and my 2 grandsons are going to be staying with grandma whilst my daughter recovers from her C Section...and of course I will be getting lot's of special cuddle times:) x
Today I would like to share with you a gift box made with the new adorable Christmas Card Collection from Heartfelt Creations and was also recently shown on Create and Craft tv:) yay that was exciting to get a mention from the live CHA show!
For lot's more stunning creations please hop on over to the Heartfelt Creations blog where you will find lot's of inspiration from the Design Team.

Ice blue, and pale sage card stock, stickles glitter- diamond and xmas red, gems, pearls, sage green ribbon, white lace, snowflake acetate, Pinflair snowdust,  Wow embossing powder – Sparkling Snow, embossing ink, Crafters Companion ‘The Boxer’ embossing board.
Instructions:
For the box I have used Crafters Companion ‘The Boxer’ Score board. You can find a link HERE to their website (it really is a fantastic easy product to use). To elevate the lid away from the base I have used some snowflake acetate. I have cut 4 1” strips approx  6” in length from the ice blue card stock and scored down the centre to form 90degree angles. I have then cut the acetate just under the width of the sides of the box and 6” in length, you will need 4 of these. Adhere the acetate to the 90 degree angle strips to create a box, this the should fit just inside the main box base. Adhere this leaving about 3” to 4” at the top, this  has now created a taller box and so that  when the lid is on it is now elevated from the base showing off the ornamental lattice decorations.
You are now ready to decorate the box.
The Lid: Die Cut and heat emboss with the embossing powder the sunklissed fleur flowers and holly berry swirl flourishes x 3. I have then diecut 4 ornamental lattice decorations in ice blue card and cut them in ½ to create 8 pieces. Choose a circular sentiment from the paper collection and cut it out. With it upside down adhere the lattice decorations around it as in picture.  Adhere lace around the bottom of the lid. Die cut 8 more lattice decorative ornaments and cut in ½.(You can use the other ½ to decorate the main box)  Choose 4 small sentiments and cut them out. Take the 8 bottom parts of the lattice decorative ornaments and adhere 2 to each end of the sentiments and adhere these to each side of the lid. Die cut 8 more ornamental lattice decorations, cut in ½ and adhere to the inside of the lid as in picture. Using 4 of the ends in each corner. Now adhere the flowers and holly berry flourishes  and sentiment to the top of the lid as in picture.
The Base: Adhere lace around the top of the base and also around the top of the  acetate. Choose 4 pictures and/or sentiments from the paper pack and adhere to each side of the base. I have used some of the ornamental lattice decorations  to decorate around 2 of the sides of the box.
Finish decorating the box using stickles glitter, pinflair snowdust, pearls and gems.

  3. Absolutely stunning project Nikki! Love everything about it...it's just perfect.

Glad the little one's ok and keeping you all busy. Hope Mum heals quickly and cleanly. I had an emergency section and I felt a lot better as soon as I got home from hospital and it's amazing how fast you usually do heal from such a big operation. Looking forward to hearing what the name's going to be.
