For lot's more inspiration from the other extremely talented Design Team just head on over to the blog HERE . There is also a fabulous video showing you that this collection is more than just Christmas by Emma Lou!
My creation today is a card with a gift tag that also can be used as a wall plaque to hang on the wall which was featured at the CHA live on Create and Craft TV!!!!(Had to get that bit in lol) You can see that I have used the gorgeous papers from the Christmas Card Collection, Stamps and Dies form the Christmas Collection, but I have also used the Sunkissed Fleur stamps and Sunkissed Fleur dies to create Christmas flowers, which just shows how versatile the Heartfelt Creation products are. I have just added some fabulous snowdust from Pinflair which give the flowers a real Christmas feel!
This picture is showing both the card and tag
The card without the tag. I have chosen some paper from the collection so that the card still looks good without the tag!
This is the tag in all it's glory
The top of the tag in more detail
The back of the tag where I have added a loop so that it can be hung easily. I have also added a small flower to give it a professional looking finish
This is the pocket in more detail
As always I have decorated the inside of the card again made easier with the very detailed Christmas Card Paper Collection

Spellbinder dies used: Grand Labels Four, Grand Square, Labels Sixteen
Other Items Used: Memento Ink: Rhubarb Stalk, Bamboo Leaves. Embossing ink, Red Sparkle embossing powder, green sparkle glitter, Stickles Glitter Glue: Diamond, Pinflair snowdust, Red card, olive green card, 8x8 card blank, Lace, pearls, string of pearls, adhesive tape, strong glue and Grand Calibur.
The wall plaque tag: I have made tag approximately
3.5”x7” in olive green card. Stamp the top and bottom of the card with the
decorative border stamp in red ink so that only the top of the pattern has
stamped. Die cut 3 decorative lattice
decorations in olive green and 3 in red card. Adhere these from the back of the tag (I cut mine in ½) layering
the red on top of the olive green. Die
cut a set of the Sunkissed Fleur flowers and stamp and heat emboss with red
embossing powder. Cut out the sentiment
saying from the paper collection and layer onto red card and some chosen paper
from the paper collection and adhere to the centre of the tag. Adhere some
pearls on sting and some lace to the top of the tag as in picture. Add the flowers to the tag. On the back of the tag I have made a loop
with lace and added a little flower to finish it off so that the tag can be
hung on the wall which is why I decided to call it a wall plaque tag. Finish
the tag off with stickles glitter and the snowdust.
The card can now be given with the tag sitting inside the
pocket and if the recipient wants to hang the tag they can do so without the
card looking unfinished.
Your card and tag are just beautiful Nikki. I'm really inspired to make a start on my own Christmas cards!
ReplyDeleteThis is just stunning. I have no more words to express how beautiful I think this is! Well done!
ReplyDeleteWow..This is just A-MAZING. Wasn't it fun to see our work on TV?
ReplyDeletewooooo, Nikki! this has GOT to be jaw-dropping, incredibly beautiful in person, because it is jaw-dropping, incredibly beautiful on line! Amazing detail, brilliant colors, lovely design and dimension, and it just says "Nikki" all over it! Your tag is beautifully framed and so elegantly blinged! It's hard to have elegant bling, but you always carry it off amazingly. Thanks for the pretty eye treat, and the ideas, Nikki. hugs, de
ReplyDeleteJust coming through again to let you know the dimensions of my card you asked about. Folded it is 4"X 5 1/2". I followed the directions on Splitcoast Stampers for the Tri-Shutter Card. The printed version is the one I used for sizes. The video uses a regular sheet of CS and is smaller than the one I used. Hope this helps!
ReplyDeleteThank you Glenda.....am going to give this design a go me thinks....thanks for the inspiration x
