After all the excitement of catching up with the crafting world and seeing my Heartfelt Creations projects on Create and Craft TV last night (and yes I was screaming at the TV) and not a lot of sleep lol...I am here after my week in Dubai with my Heartfelt Creations project for this week..... A rather simple but elegant card using the Burst of Splendor stamps!
Heartfelt Creations Products used:
HCPC 3545 Open leaf precut set
HCPC 3579 Blooming Dahlia precut set
HCD 737 Open Leaf die
HCDP 1235 Burst of Splendor paper Collection
HCPC 3544 All Seasons Sentiments precut set
Spellbinder Dies Used: Grand Stately circles and Grand Decorative Circles. Framed Tags one
Choose some decorative paper from the paper collection. I chose some of the pretty pink. Adhere the deep pink card onto the front of the card. Matt and layer a pale dusky pink card and your chosen paper onto the front of the card. Stamp and colour up the Blooming Dahlia onto water colour card and cut out using the small die from the Gran Decorative circles. Cut out a small stately circle in deep pink card. Matt and layer the Blooming Dahlia image onto the deep pink circle, and adhere to the top centre of the card. Stamp and die cut 2 leaves. Make a bow from pale pink organza ribbon. Adhere the 2 leaves and bow as in picture. Stamp and cut out the sentiments.....’Missing You’ from the All Seasons Sentiments precut set. Die cut the small oval tag from the framed tag set. Now adhere the cut out sentiments onto the tag. Adhere the decorative button and tag to the bow. Finish the front of the card by adding the pearls on a string and pearl brads.
I have also decorated the inside of the card:
Cut out
another small stately circle in dusky pink and stamp the small dahlia from the
Blooming Dahlia precut stamp using the memento ink in sweet plum and bamboo
leaves. Stamp your chosen sentiment using the bamboo green memento ink. Adhere
deep pink card stock onto the inside of the card and layer a square of
decorative paper from the paper pack about 5”x5”. Finish by adhering the stamped stately circle
onto the centre of the card and adding some stickles glitter.
I hope you like my project today.....a little different from my usual style:) but shows you how versitle these new stamps and papers are!
