Not to mention the sneak peek of Aprils new collection - Celebrate the Journey!!!
My card today is a 6" x 6" using one of the panels from the Once Upon a Time paper collection and the stamp is from the Floral Clock stamp set.
- I stamped the image, coloured it in using some distress inks and cut it out with a Spellbinder circle die.
- I matted the image onto the Decorative Circle from the Raindrops on Roses die set and adhered it to the card.
- I made a rose using the Vintage Floret stamps a die. Added a couple of leaves that I made using the Classic leaf die and stamps and adhered it to the card.
- The tag is also from the paper collection, which I have cut out and matted onto some peachy card.
- I made an organza bow and a twine bow and added it to my card. I have added a flower cameo which is from The Hobby House.
- To finish I added some Pink Taffeta Stickles glitter and a few pearl swirls.
That all from me today! I hope you all have a glorious day:)
Take care x
This is such a pretty card, Nikki! I love the layers and the soft pink colors. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Nikki. What a beautiful design today. Id give my high teeth to have an imagination ! Ive not an artistic bone in my body !
ReplyDeleteMy wish (if I could have just 1) is to be able to design a card in my minds eye and pull it off to perfection, instead of looking with berwilderment thinking "where now ".!!!
You design ladies/men have something Id love to have - a brilliant creative mind !
Love to all.

Hi Steph, Ditto, Ditto, Ditto !! I haven't got any imagination either, I am quite OK at copying or taking a snippet from this and that and then putting it together, but to be given some products and told to make something, that would be 'panic stations' haha. This is why these fabulous Blogs are great for peeps like us, they are our inspiration !!

I so Love the Papers the muted look I've purchased this and I have a stamp I wish to use it's a Beautiful Rose but I'm finding it difficult to find the correct colour as I use Copic Pens, I so want to get it correct so I've stamped my image numerous times and then laid them on my paper do you use Distress Pens from Tim? Hi Nikki
ReplyDeleteNot to sure how I missed your blog on Wed. Such a beautiful card, and I shall certainly pop over to HC to see what's coming up in April. When I see a new release I think HC cannot surpass this. But then they do. Thanks for the info on how to do a crisscross card.
What a lovely card - and it is a delight to see how you and the other HC designers use the collections in such different ways.
