Blog Candy

Good morning fellow bloggers! I hope you all had a nice weekend:)
Today I am launching another blog candy:) Just my way of saying thank you to you all for your support and lovely comments you leave me! It really does mean so much to me:) x
As always there is no pressure to be a follower of my blog to take part but if you like my designs then it would be nice to see you in my sidebar!
So here are the goodies that I have put together this week....I have noticed that you can't see which Spellbinder die it is as I have covered it up, but it is Die D-lites Blooms Four and as always I will also enclose one of my cards:)

Just leave a comment at the end of this post and you will be entered! I will choose the winner through random org!

Todays Card

My card today is another card from my Hobby House show. I have used an Elizabeth Bell topper and layered it up onto the Spellbinder die Captivating Squares which I cut out in co-ordinating card stock. All the embellishments are from the Raspberry Cream embellishment kit. The pretty papers are from Lili of The Valley Nitwit collection - Always and Forever.

Another quick card to create!

Lot's of News to Share!

Good afternoon fellow blogging friends. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
So spring is finally here:)
I thought today I would share the box which was on the Hobby House show last week.....using all of those gorgeous embellishments and Heartfelt Creations Paper - Raindrops on Roses and Vintage floret die and co-ordinating stamps. The box was a simple 4"x4" box I made using a lilac/pinky card stock. I made the lid using the same paper..... I do like creating these easy to make boxes:)

I have used the Raindrops on Roses decorative circle die just to add a little interest on the lid!

My card has been published

I am excited to tell you that a card that I made some months ago for Creative Expressions has been published in there recent Inspiration book:) How lucky am I!
This is a sneak peak at the card which I made using the very beautiful Belle of The ball stamps. You will have to go and buy yourself the book to see the full card and details of how I made it though!

Update on show times

My show date for Heartfelt Creations March collection will be on Sunday 16th March at 9am and 3pm. I will be bringing you the Once Upon a Time Collection! I will share a few sneaky peaks next week.
Also I am pleased to tell you that I will also be doing another show for The Hobby House on April 4th.... times are still to be finalised!

A little Damask Card

Hi everyone! I hope you are all well:) x
Todays card that I would like to share is one that you may of seen on The Hobby House show.
Surprisingly it is a very small card for me....only measuring 5 1/4" x 4 1/4".

  • I Have used the Spellbinder Grand Labels Four die (the middle size), folded and scored it in half to create my main card. I used cream card.
  •  I have then taken some Hobby House patterned paper called Ornate Damask die cut it out with the next size down Labels Four and embossed it with the Spellbinder  m-embossing folder - Elegance. (I cut it in half).
  • Next I have inked over the embossed areas with Spun Sugar Distress Ink and adhered it to the centre of the card.
  • I have die cut the decorative circle die from the Heartfelt  Creations Raindrops on Roses collection in cream card and inked a little with Spun Sugar Distress Ink. I adhered this to the centre of the card.
  • I have added some roses, velvet ribbon and pearl embellishments from The Hobby House Pink Mint embellishment set.
  • The sentiment is one from my stash that I have inked and die cut out using the Spellbinder Labels  Four. Instead of adhering it flat to my card I have arched it a little and glued just at each end.
  • I have added a metal spacer and pearl brad from The Hobby House on the right hand corner of the sentiment.
  • To finish I have added a little Spun Sugar Distress Ink around the edges of the main card base and added some Stickle glitter -Diamond for a little added sparkle.
I really enjoyed making this very quick and tiny card:)

Decorated notepad

Good afternoon fellow bloggers. I hope you are all well and enjoying some beautiful sunshine that we are having in some parts of the UK......It has been a long wet winter and I for one am looking forward to some nice warm sunny days:)
Over the next week I will be sharing some of the cards from my Hobby House show, but first I wanted to share this notebook with you that I didn't get chance to demo.
The inspiration came from my fellow Hobby House Design Team member Debbie Simpson.
I have made a cover from chipboard and covered it in pale pink cardstock. I chose some papers from the Heartfelt Creations collection called Vintage Floret and also made the roses from the stamp and die set. These are available from Sir Stampalot. The ribbon, pearls, brads and spacers are all from the Hobby House.

This is the inside of the notepad

Blog Candy Winner!

Good afternoon fellow blogging friends. It's been a few days since I last blogged. I have been busy creating some cards and projects for something rather special which I can share with you later this week:)....I think you might like it though:) x

A big thank you to all of you that left a comment....I will be launching another blog giveaway very soon:) x

Now for my card that I would like to share with you today.
I have used papers and the Decorative circle die from the Heartfelt Creations Collection - Raindrops on Roses. I made the flowers from the Vintage Blossom stamps and dies (Heartfelt Creations).  The flourishes are Spellbinder - Jewel Flowers and Flourishes. The pearls are from The Hobby House and of course I have added a little Stickles Glitter!

Yes! another purple and lilac card......But I do love these papers and because I chose to use a decorative panel rather than stamp my image it was a quick card to make:)
Sorry it is a shorter post than normal, but I really must get back to my crafting:)  I had the weekend off as the sun was shining and I did some spring cleaning.  I hope you all had some nice weather this weekend too:) I know it isn't quite spring yet......but we have to make the most of this sunshine, don't we? We don't seem to see it much these days:(

Take care everyone,
I will be back soon with some news on what I am prepping for:).....maybe a Create and Craft show?......hehe, sorry I can't share today:(

Raindrops on Roses - Heartfelt Creations

A very good morning to you all! Wednesday already:( I just don't no where this week has gone!
It is that time of the week again when I share my Heartfelt Creations Design Team project with you all.
I have made a card using the  absolutely gorgeous Raindrops on Roses collection......I just adore these papers.

I have used the Posy Patch flowers to create the flowers

I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it in clear embossing powder.

Other Products Used:
Clear embossing powder, Memento ink – Grape Jelly , Distress Ink – Milled Lavender, Stickles Glitter – Diamond, dusky pink card, pale pink card, lilac card, flat lilac pearls, decorative pearl button, vintage charm, 3 handmade pear pins, deep dusky satin ribbon, Glitter Frantage, Embossing ink, Heat tool
Instructions:
Start with a card blank in pale pink card measuring 6 ½” x6 ½”. Cut a piece of dusky pink card measuring 6 ¼” x 6 ¼” and adhere to the card blank. Choose a decorative 6” x 6” panel from the Raindrops On Roses papers, cut out and adhere to the card. Die cut out 2 of the Raindrops on Roses decorative die in lilac card and also 2 decorative circle in pale pink card. Stamp the Birthday sentiment out with the Milled Lavender ink and heat emboss with the clear embossing powder. Die cut it out with the Spellbinder oval. Cut one of the decorative circles out into 4’s and adhere to card as in picture. Next adhere the 2 decorative lilac die cuts. Take the other decorative circle and cut again into 4 (you may need to cut a little off of each so that they fit nicely under the Oval) and adhere to the centre of the card so that when you add the oval they have just a little showing. Adhere the oval with 3D foam pads. Stamp and die cut various sizes of the Posy Patch flowers, enough to make one medium, one small and one extra small flowers and 1 single medium flower. Die cut 2 of the foliage flourishes from the Gift Ensemble die set in some green patterned paper from the paper collection. Adhere the 3 flowers and foliage flourishes to the top right hand side of the oval and add the decorative pearl pins. Make a bow and adhere to the bottom left of the oval. Add the flower to the bow and adhere the pearl button to the centre. Take the vintage embellishment and adhere to the bottom of the bow – I added some glitter frantage to the centre of the heart. To finish add some Stickles Glitter.
